Manchester United winger Amad Diallo spoke about playing under Michael Carrick, saying the squad would “be happy if we have him next season as manager.”
Michael Carrick has turned United’s season around since taking over from Ruben Amorim, guiding the team from mid-table to a Champions League spot with three matches still to play.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the 23-year-old gave insight into life under the former midfielder and said the players are keen for him to get the job on a permanent basis.
"I think the biggest change maybe is because the team is now more impactful,” he explained.
“In the dressing room, we are really together, every mistake is not a problem, your mistake is my mistake, so we are a team that doesn’t care if you make a mistake, you go again, so we go forward, we want to win as a team.”
When asked about United’s managerial situation, Diallo made his opinion clear, saying: “Everyone is happy to have him as manager. Everyone is with him... we will be happy if we have him next season as manager.”
