Stephen Curry scored 35 points, including a go-ahead three with 50 seconds left, as the Warriors rallied from 13 down in the fourth to beat the Clippers 126-121 and advance in the NBA play-in. Golden State now plays Phoenix for the West’s eighth seed and a first-round series with OKC.

Curry’s late three lifts Warriors past Clippers to keep play-in run alive...

Golden State star Stephen Curry drained a go-ahead three with 50 seconds remaining as the Warriors fought back to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 126-121 and extend their NBA play-in run on Wednesday.

The four-time NBA champion, who sat out 27 games between February and early April due to a persistent knee injury, overcame a quiet first half to end with 35 points.

He hit seven of 12 attempts from deep, powering the Warriors back from a 13-point fourth-quarter hole after trailing for most of the night.

His final three gave Golden State a 120-117 lead, and they closed it out to eliminate Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers from the post-season.

After ending the regular season 10th in the West, the Warriors need one more win to reach the play-offs proper when they meet the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

Victory in that game secures the West’s eighth seed and a first-round matchup with top-seeded reigning champions Oklahoma City Thunder.

Curry said “resiliency” will again be crucial in Phoenix.

“These win or go home scenarios, we think we know the team but you've got to be able to withstand the runs and stay in it emotionally.

“It was back and forth the whole game, and then we got over the hump the last three minutes.”

Gui Santos and Kristaps Porzingis added 20 points each for the Warriors, while Al Horford buried four threes in the fourth quarter.

Bennedict Mathurin paced the Clippers with 23 points. Leonard and Darius Garland each had 21, though Leonard managed just two points in the final period.
