Clement Bischoff suspended by Salzburg until end of season...
Clement Bischoff, the Danish U21 midfielder, won't be part of Red Bull Salzburg's squad for the rest of the season. The club confirmed he's been excluded following a scuffle with Salzburg coach Daniel Beichler during training.
The fallout happened during a heated session, and Bischoff's time at the club seems to be over.
“The decision has been communicated to the player and his backers in a personal meeting. The reason is a disciplinary incident that took place during a team training, which means that the Dane will train individually until the end of the season,” says the club in a comment to TV2 Sport.
Bischoff hasn't played for Salzburg since mid-March due to a disciplinary issue. He missed matches against Rapid, Sturm Graz, and Hartberg, and Salzburg confirmed the issue stemmed from a training incident.
Bischoff's been told to train solo on the pitch until the season ends, and he won't be part of the team. The Danish midfielder's had a tough time at Salzburg since joining from Brondby last summer, struggling to get into the starting lineup.
In 24 games for Salzburg, Bischoff scored 2 goals and had 5 assists.
