A former Brondby ace has been banned from training with RB Salzburg after clashing with coach Daniel Beichler.
Clement Bischoff, the former Brondby player, has been barred from squad training, affecting Salzburg's title push. The club is dealing with disciplinary issues amidst their fight for a title win since 2023.
Clement Bischoff was left out of the Red Bull Salzburg matchday squad for the third consecutive time on Friday, with reports suggesting he's been suspended.
At the press conference after Salzburg's defeat to LASK, coach Daniel Beichler confirmed the suspension, saying: “From a disciplinary point of view, I found one or two things not to be right. There’s nothing more to say about it.”
According to reports by “Krone,” Clement Bischoff and Daniel Beichler had clashed during training, leading to the 20-year-old being barred from team training.
The incident, which happened last summer after Bischoff's move from Brondby IF, is being handled internally. Bischoff hasn't started a game in a while, with his last appearance on March 15 as a second-half substitute in Salzburg's 0-1 loss to Rapid Vienna.
