PSV set price tag for star player Ismael Saibari as transfer window approaches. PSV director Earnest Stewart confirms club will demand up to €75m for talented midfielder.
Earnest Stewart says 'logical' to demand high price for standout Eredivisie player...
PSV are ready to cash in big on Ismael Saibari, with a price tag of up to €75 million on the cards for the summer, according to director Earnest Stewart.
Saibari's stellar season - 14 goals and 8 assists in the Eredivisie, helping PSV to the Dutch top tier title - has turned heads, and PSV are looking to capitalize on his momentum. Stewart thinks it's only logical to demand top dollar for the 25-year-old.
PSV are targeting a hefty €70-75 million price tag for Ismael Saibari this summer, with director Earnest Stewart backing manager Peter Bosz's suggestion.
“We hear what other clubs are asking for players, and he's one of the best in the Dutch league. So it's no surprise we're holding out for a high price. That seems logical to me,” Stewart told ESPN, emphasizing PSV's confidence in Saibari's value.
“Ultimately, we’ll see how things pan out and what kind of interest comes in, but it’s clear that he’s one of the standout players in the Eredivisie. We won’t let him leave just like that.”

The potential Saibari sale will pave the way for PSV to strengthen, with director Earnest Stewart revealing the funds will go towards replacing injured captain Jerdy Schouten.
Schouten's ACL tear means a long absence, and he'll also miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup, leaving PSV needing to fill the gap.
“Jerdy picked up an injury on Saturday and we won the title on Sunday. It’s now Tuesday, so we’ll know more about it in the coming days. But it’s clear that he’ll be out of action for a while, so we’ll have to adapt to that.”
