Nine batters recorded multi-home run games during Monday's MLB action, headlined by superstars Aaron Judge and Mike Trout in a back-and-forth duel.
The Yankees-Angels matchup featured multiple multi-homer performances, including Trent Grisham, capping a wild night across the league.
Judge, 33, put the Yankees ahead 2-0 early with a two-run homer in the first inning off Trout’s Angels, sparking a duel between future Hall of Famers.
After the Angels fell behind 7-4 following Grisham’s first homer in the bottom of the fifth, Trout, 34, came through with his first of two home runs to tie the game 7-7 in the top of the sixth.

Judge answered in the bottom of the sixth, launching a solo shot to give the Yankees an 8-7 lead.
It was Judge’s sixth homer of the year and his first multi-home run game of the season.
Trout answered with a two-run homer in the top of the eighth to put the Angels up 10-8. It marked the 31st multi-home run game of his career and his first of the season.

After homering in each of the first two games, Trout had gone 13 games without a home run before Monday night.

Then in the top of the ninth, Grisham hit his second homer of the night to tie it 10-10, before the Yankees won 11-10 on a walk-off wild pitch.

Both were Grisham’s first home runs of the season.
Orioles, Diamondbacks Trade Blows in Baltimore
Another multi-home run duel unfolded in Baltimore.
Ketel Marte and Nolan Arenado each hit two homers early to stake the Arizona Diamondbacks to a commanding 7-1 lead.
Baltimore answered with eight unanswered runs. Jeremiah Jackson hit a grand slam to cut it to 7-6, then added a solo shot to cap a 9-6 final.
Jackson now has three home runs in his last three games. It would have been four, but one ball hit off the wall during Saturday’s win over the San Francisco Giants.
Schwarber Launches Two as Phillies Rout Cubs
Elsewhere, reigning NL home run king Kyle Schwarber launched two homers Monday night, including one while down on a knee, pushing his season total to six as the Phillies beat the Chicago Cubs 13-7.
Schwarber led the NL with 56 home runs last season and topped all of MLB with 132 RBI.
Naylor’s First Homers of 2026 Power Mariners Past Astros
In Seattle, Josh Naylor hit his first two home runs of the season, driving in five of the six runs the Mariners needed to beat the Houston Astros 6-2.
It was Naylor’s first multi-home run game since September 18, 2024, when he hit a pair against the Minnesota Twins.
Jake Burger goes yard in first two at-bats
Jake Burger went deep in his first two at-bats, making the Texas Rangers first baseman the ninth and final player on April 13th with a multi-home run game.

His first came in the opening inning off Athletics starter Luis Severino.
Burger Homers Twice Early for Rangers
Burger’s second homer came in his next at-bat in the top of the third, again off Severino.
It’s Burger’s first multi-home run game of the season and his first since September 10th last year against the Milwaukee Brewers.
