Leicester relegated to third tier
Relegated to the Championship last season, Leicester suffered a second straight drop after a 2-2 home draw with promotion-chasing Hull. The King Power Stadium had plenty of empty seats.
Needing to beat Hull to delay relegation, Leicester fell behind after 18 minutes. Liam Miller punished an error by goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Leicester briefly gave fans hope in the second half. Jordan James equalised from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute and Luke Thomas put them ahead two minutes later. The joy was short-lived, with Oli McBurnie levelling in the 63rd.
