Fury wants all-British clash with Joshua, says it's 'not about a belt anymore'...

Tyson Fury is looking beyond his upcoming fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov and has his sights set on a long-awaited clash with Anthony Joshua. The 37-year-old Gypsy King, who has come out of retirement for the fifth time, wants to face Joshua in an all-British fight if he wins his comeback bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fury's manager has revealed that the boxer is planning a three-fight plan this year, with the Anthony Joshua fight being the main target. Fury himself has said, “It's not really about a belt anymore, it's just that I want to make that Anthony Joshua fight that was supposed to have happened for the last ten years but hasn't.”

“I've got Arslanbek Makhmudov to think of on Saturday night, but ‌all going well (Joshua is) the fight I want next,” ‌he told BBC radio on Wednesday.

“I know he just had his fight with Jake Paul, whatever... a fight's a fight, really. So yeah, I'll be ready for that straight away after this.”

Anthony Joshua, 36, recently faced American Jake Paul in Miami, delivering a brutal sixth-round knockout. Just days after this victory, Joshua was involved in a tragic car accident in Nigeria, resulting in the loss of two close friends, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, who were part of his team.

The accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with reports indicating excessive speed and wrongful overtaking as possible causes. Joshua sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized but has since been discharged to continue recovery at home.

Deontay Wilder is pushing for a fight with Anthony Joshua after his split-decision win over Derek Chisora. Wilder even confronted Joshua after the fight, saying “Let's do it.”

Tyson Fury, however, isn't convinced, dismissing the idea of a Wilder-Joshua fight, saying Wilder and Chisora looked likeclub fighters in their match. Fury is focused on his upcoming fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov and has his sights set on facing Joshua next.

“I've never seen two ‌men slide as much as these two,” he said of the Wilder vs Chisora bout. “They look like a couple of club fighters from a white-collar match in a local leisure centre. It was sad for ‌me to watch.”
