Moukoko hat-trick leads Copenhagen to 7-0 win over Silkeborg...
Bo Svensson's debut as FC Copenhagen coach was a resounding success, with the Lions cruising to a 7-0 victory over Silkeborg IF. This impressive win marks a turnaround for FC Copenhagen, which had been struggling with disappointing performances, ultimately leading to the dismissal of former coach Jacob Neestrup.
The match began with FC Copenhagen showcasing the energy and optimism that had been lacking in their recent games. They took an early lead, thanks to Mohamed Elyounoussi's clever play, which set up Youssoufa Moukoko for an easy tap-in goal just six minutes in.
FC Copenhagen's lead was doubled six minutes later when Robert, their Brazilian striker, received a Silkeborg clearance from a corner and scored with a clinical effort from the edge of the box.
The match was more or less decided after 17 minutes when William Clem scored a superb goal, leaving Larsen helpless with a finish from the edge of the box, following an impressive Copenhagen build-up against a shocked Silkeborg outfit.
Things took a turn for the worse for Kent Nielsen's Silkeborg IF as FC Copenhagen extended their lead to 4-0 after 25 minutes. Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen's header set up Youssoufa Moukoko for his second goal of the night, tapping the ball over the line.
The Copenhagen goalshow continued six minutes after the break, with Moukoko completing his hat-trick. He received the ball on a counter-attack, drove it to the edge of the box, and finished with a clinical shot to the left corner.

FC Copenhagen's dominant performance continued as they scored their sixth goal in the 62nd minute. Mohamed Elyounoussi's precise pass found Robert, who was left unmarked in front of goal, and the Brazilian striker capitalized on the opportunity, rifling the ball into the roof of the net.
The Copenhagen party wasn't over yet, as they scored their seventh goal with just thirteen minutes to go. William Clem delivered a superb cross to the Silkeborg back post, where Swedish striker Jordan Larsson headed the ball powerfully past Larsen, sealing the 7-0 win.
