Dominant Bayern Munich Retain Bundesliga title following record-breaking season...
Bayern Munich secured the Bundesliga title for a second straight season on Sunday, beating Stuttgart to seal the championship in mid-April with four games remaining.
Bayern’s 2025/26 Bundesliga crown never looked in doubt. With only one loss all season and a new record for goals scored in a Bundesliga campaign, Vincent Kompany’s team have been a level above everyone else.
After Borussia Dortmund lost to Hoffenheim on Saturday, Bayern knew a win over in-form Stuttgart on Sunday would clinch the title. Their 4-2 win was decisive, sparking celebrations on the pitch, in the stands, and across Munich at full-time.
After a spell where Bayern struggled to reach their usual heights in Germany and Europe, Kompany has made them a major threat again on both fronts, keeping the treble very much alive this season.
Apart from a surprise home loss to Augsburg in January, Bayern’s season has been dominant. They beat closest rivals Dortmund twice, scored five or more in eight games, and netted 109 times in 30 matches to break their own 1971/72 Bundesliga scoring record.
The front three of Harry Kane, Luis Diaz and Michael Olise have led the way for the Bavarian giants.

Kane tops the Bundesliga scoring charts with 32 goals in 27 games. Diaz has 15 goals and 13 assists, while Olise leads the league with 18 assists and has added 12 goals of his own.
Between them, the trio has 95 goal contributions, accounting for a massive share of Bayern’s league goals this season.
It is, quite simply, the best attack in Europe, and one that will be hard to stop in Germany and in Europe for years to come.
Bayern will celebrate the league title tonight before turning to the DFB Pokal semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen in three days on April 22 at 20:45 CET, followed by the first leg of their Champions League semi-final vs PSG on April 28.
