Pedro Neto apologized for his actions, saying he wasn't himself in the heat of the moment and even gave the ball boy his shirt as a gesture of goodwill. UEFA's investigation found Neto guilty of unsporting conduct, but he escaped a harsher punishment like a fine or suspension.
