Managerless Spurs head to Auckland for pre-season friendly amid relegation fears...
Tottenham Hotspur, currently fighting for survival in the Premier League, has announced a pre-season friendly in New Zealand, despite being on the brink of relegation to the Championship. The team will travel to Auckland to face Auckland FC on July 26, before heading to Australia for matches against Sydney FC and Chelsea.
The club is searching for a new manager after parting ways with Igor Tudor on Sunday, just seven games into his tenure. Tudor's departure leaves Tottenham without a manager, with potential candidates including Roberto De Zerbi, Sean Dyche, and even club icon Glenn Hoddle.
The London side are in a tricky spot, sitting just one point above the bottom three relegation places with seven matches left to turn things around.

Spurs will kick off their pre-season tour with a match against Auckland FC on July 26th at Eden Park, marking their second trip to New Zealand after first visiting in 1976.
“Whatever happens to Tottenham this season, they remain an incredibly high-profile team with a worldwide fans base and we're delighted to have them here in Auckland with us,” said Auckland FC chief executive Nick Becker.
Spurs have more fixtures lined up, with matches against Sydney FC on July 29th and Chelsea on August 1st in Australia.
Roberto de Zerbi, formerly of Brighton and Marseille, is a contender for the vacant manager role, alongside Sean Dyche, who's been touted as a potential saviour to get Spurs back on track.
