The pressure's on, and Detroit's leading the charge with a solid 52-19 record. 

The New York Knicks are on fire! They just extended their winning streak to seven games with a thrilling 121-116 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Jalen Brunson led the charge with 32 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, to secure the victory. He was one of seven Knicks players to finish in double figures, with Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby also putting up impressive numbers, each scoring 21 points.

The Knicks' balanced attack was on full display, with Towns grabbing 14 rebounds and Mikal Bridges adding 14 points. The Pelicans, led by Zion Williamson's 22 points, fought hard but couldn't overcome the Knicks' momentum. This win puts the Knicks just a hair's breadth away from the Boston Celtics for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Donovan Mitchell dropped 42 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a thrilling 136-131 win over the Orlando Magic. It's their fourth straight win, and they're looking strong in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a 45-27 record.

The Cavs are keeping their playoff momentum going, and Mitchell's performance was a big reason why.

The Charlotte Hornets are keeping their playoff hopes alive with a dominant 134-90 win over the Sacramento Kings. They're currently tied with two other teams in the Eastern Conference with 38-34 records, keeping them in the mix for a postseason spot.

The Hornets are just a few games behind the Philadelphia 76ers (39-33) and Atlanta Hawks (40-22), who occupy the 10th and 7th seeds, respectively.
