Naz Reid fined $50,000 by NBA for questioning refs after charging call vs Houston Rockets...
Naz Reid, the Minnesota Timberwolves forward, has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for questioning the integrity of game officials. This decision came after Reid was ejected from the game with 4:13 left in overtime during Minnesota's 110-108 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
The technical foul and ejection were a result of Reid's comments to referee Scott Foster, which were deemed to question the crew's integrity. Reid, who's earning approximately $21.6 million this season, had no prior technical fouls, making the fine a significant penalty.
Reid got whistled for a charging foul on Alperen Sengun early in OT. The T-Wolves challenged it, but the call stood after review. Reid wasn't having it, got tossed by ref Scott Foster.
