FA takes action against Spurs boss Tudor for comments on match official..
Tottenham Hotspur's interim manager Igor Tudor is in hot water with the FA over his comments about the referee after their 2-1 loss to Fulham. The FA has charged him with misconduct for saying, “I didn't like the referee today, too much of a home team referee,” in a post-match interview with the BBC.
Tudor made the comments on March 1, and now he'll face the music. The FA is taking his remarks seriously, and Tudor could face disciplinary action for criticizing the match official.
“All the decisions were on their side. He doesn't understand football, the feeling of what is wrong and what is right.”
The FA said his remarks “imply bias and/or question integrity and/or are personally offensive in relation to a match official,” giving Tudor until March 23rd to respond.
