Ibrahim Hassan advises Salah to stay in Europe or consider Saudi Pro League instead of MLS...
Egypt's national team director, Ibrahim Hassan, is advising Mohamed Salah to think twice before joining Major League Soccer (MLS) when his Liverpool contract expires. Hassan believes Salah would fade into obscurity in the US, saying, “A move to the Major League? He would be far too out of the spotlight. You won’t remember Salah any more than I remember (Lionel) Messi now, I don’t even try to watch him.”
Hassan recommends Salah stay in Europe, citing interest from top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Italian teams. If European offers don't materialize, the Saudi Pro League could be a good alternative, given the presence of stars like Cristiano Ronaldo. Salah, 33, is currently injured and will miss Egypt's training camp as they prep for the World Cup.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber is thrilled at the prospect of Mohamed Salah joining the league, calling him a “great player” and saying he'd provide a “great platform” for Salah. While Garber's enthusiasm is clear, it's still uncertain if any MLS teams will make a move for the Egyptian superstar, who's set to leave Liverpool this summer.
Egypt's national team director, Ibrahim Hassan, isn't convinced MLS is the best fit for Salah, suggesting he'd rather stay in Europe or consider Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, San Diego FC owner Mohamed Mansour has expressed interest in signing Salah, citing his professionalism and athleticism.

“Personally, I would prefer him to stay in Europe,” Hassan told On Sports. “I have heard about offers from Paris Saint‑Germain, Bayern Munich and clubs in the Italian league.

Ibrahim Hassan thinks the Saudi Pro League could be a good fit for Mohamed Salah if he decides to leave Europe, citing the presence of stars like Cristiano Ronaldo. It's a different path from Lionel Messi, who joined Inter Miami last year and is thriving, becoming the club's all-time top scorer.
Hassan's concern is that MLS might not give Salah the same level of visibility he enjoys in Europe. With top clubs like PSG and Bayern Munich eyeing him, staying in Europe seems like the best option, but the Saudi Pro League is a solid alternative.

“If he does not receive offers from Europe, then a move to the Saudi league would be a good option, especially with big names such as Cristiano (Ronaldo),” Hassan, twin brother of Egypt coach Hossam Hassan, added.
Mohamed Salah is out with an injury and won't be joining Egypt's training camp as they prep for the World Cup in North America. He's currently following a rehabilitation program after picking up a muscle injury during Liverpool's Champions League match against Galatasaray.
Egypt will face Spain in a friendly match in Barcelona on Tuesday, following their 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on Friday. The seven-time African champions are in Group G with Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran at the World Cup, which runs from June 11 to July 19.
