Borussia Dortmund stages stunning comeback, scoring three goals in second half to win...

Borussia Dortmund staged an incredible second-half comeback against Hamburger SV, turning a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 win. The hosts had looked set for a tough afternoon after Daniel Heuer Fernandes managed to parry Maximilian Beier's early one-on-one effort.

Dortmund trailed 2-0 at halftime, with Philip Otele and Albert Sambi Lokonga scoring for Hamburg. However, the introduction of Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva sparked a remarkable turnaround. Ramy Bensebaini scored two penalties, and Guirassy netted the equalizer, securing Dortmund's victory.

This win keeps Dortmund's record of only losing to Bayern Munich in Bundesliga play intact and closes the gap to nine points, with seven matches remaining.

They bounced back from that early scare and had a dream first half. Philip Otele opened the scoring when William Mikelbrencis stole the ball from Daniel Svensson and slid it across the face of goal for Otele to tap in.

Hamburg kept pressing with counter-attacks, but Gregor Kobel made a great save to keep out Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer's near-post drive. Königsdörffer was then offside on the resulting corner, but it was clear Hamburg were creating chances.

The home side had a chance to get back on level terms when Nico Schlotterbeck's header hit the bar. Hamburg capitalized on the break, with Albert Sambi Lokonga scoring to make it 2-0 before halftime.

Fabio Vieira's long-range shot was palmed out by Kobel, but he wasn't done yet. The Arsenal loanee picked himself up and delivered a brilliant pass to Albert Sambi Lokonga, who was left unmarked and lifted his finish into the top corner.

Dortmund's fortunes changed in the second half. A penalty was awarded just before halftime when Warmed Omari fouled Maximilian Beier, but Felix Nmecha's spot-kick sailed wide of the left post.

The second half brought new energy to Dortmund, especially after Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva came on. The pair brought fresh ideas and invigorated the team's attack.

Dortmund kept pushing, and it paid off when Matthias Jöllenbeck awarded a second penalty. This time, Ramy Bensebaini was spot on, rolling the ball down the middle of the goal.

The equalizer came just five minutes later, with Serhou Guirassy getting two close-range efforts, the second of which crossed the line before Daniel Heuer Fernandes could clear it. The game was on.

Fabio Silva's thunderous effort showed Dortmund weren't done yet, and they sealed the comeback with six minutes to go. Miro Muheim handled the ball in the area, giving Dortmund another penalty, and Ramy Bensebaini scored again with a well-placed finish into the bottom right.

Dortmund completed the stunning 3-2 comeback, ending Hamburg's four-match unbeaten away run. The win keeps Dortmund nine points behind leaders Bayern with seven matches left.
