AZ turned the tables on FC Noah, cruising to a 4-0 win in Alkmaar to overturn the first-leg deficit and secure their spot in the Conference League last 16.

The Dutch side was under pressure after losing 1-0 away to FC Noah in Armenia, showing little of the ambition needed to progress. But they produced a commanding performance at home to turn the tie around.

AZ started strongly, taking an early lead through Ro-Zangelo Daal. The young forward volleyed the ball into Aleksey Ploshchadnyi's net in the fifth minute.

The score was level on aggregate, but AZ dominated the first half, leaving Noah with few chances.

Sven Mijnans got AZ's comeback alive in the 38th minute, scoring with a smart finish from a Peer Koopmeiners free-kick. It was his fourth goal in the Conference League campaign.

Sven Mijnans had a chance to score a hat-trick, but he couldn't quite capitalize. He mishit a smart cross from Kees Smit, getting the ball on his thigh instead of his foot, and the easy goal was gone.

AZ played out the final minutes with control, not allowing Noah any chances. They even managed to score a late fourth goal in the 91st minute. Troy Parrott had a shot saved by Ploshchadnyi, but Isak Jensen pounced on the rebound to score.

It was a disappointing night for FC Noah, ending their European campaign with a 4-0 loss. AZ, on the other hand, will find out their next opponent in the round of 16 at the UEFA Conference League draw on Friday.
