The Detroit Pistons put an end to the Charlotte Hornets' nine-game winning streak with a 110-104 win, led by Cade Cunningham's 33 points. However, the game was marred by a massive brawl that resulted in four ejections, including Moussa Diabate, Miles Bridges, Jalen Duren, and Isaiah Stewart.

The altercation began when Diabate fouled Duren in the paint, sparking a heated exchange that quickly escalated into a full-blown fight. The Pistons' strong performance, with Duncan Robinson scoring 18 points and Paul Reed adding 12, was overshadowed by the chaos on the court.
The brawl started when Diabate and Duren got into a heated face-off, with Duren shoving Diabate away with a hand to the face. Chaos erupted, with players throwing punches and scuffling all over the court.
The officials ejected four players – Duren, Isaiah Stewart, Diabate, and Miles Bridges. Stewart had jumped off the bench to join the fight, trying to hit Bridges, who had punched at Duren. The delay lasted several minutes before play resumed. Want more on the aftermath or the Pistons' win?
The drama didn't end there – Hornets coach Charles Lee was ejected in the fourth quarter after going ballistic over a foul call. He had to be restrained by his staff and escorted off the court.
Despite the chaos, Lee was proud of his team's effort, saying they competed hard against a tough Pistons side. The Hornets' nine-game winning streak may be over, but they're still in contention.
Detroit's win puts them top of the Eastern Conference with 39-13, ahead of the Knicks (34-19). Charlotte's 25-29 keeps them 10th.
In other games, Orlando Magic beat Milwaukee Bucks 118-99, Utah Jazz upset Miami Heat 115-111, and Brooklyn Nets stunned Chicago Bulls 123-115.
“That was a freaking great game for us,” Lee said. “They are the number one team in the East and they bring a level of physicality and competitiveness to them.
“I think that overall our guys responded to every run that they went on, and all the physicality.”
Hornets coach Charles Lee downplayed the Diabate-Duren clash, saying, “Two guys got in a heated conversation and then it kind of spiraled from there.” Lee took responsibility for his own ejection, admitting, “I gotta have a little bit better emotional control in that moment.”
Detroit coach J.B. Bickerstaff shifted the blame to Charlotte, saying Duren was defending himself. The coaches' reactions add another layer to the drama.

“Our guys deal with a lot right?” Bickerstaff said. “But they're not the ones that initiated it... they crossed the line.
"I hate that it got as ugly as it got. That's not something you ever want to see. But if a guy throws a punch at you, you have a responsibility to protect yourself and that's what happened tonight.
“Go back and watch the film. They're the ones that initiated crossing the line and our guy had to defend himself.”
