Tallon Griekspoor kicked off his Rotterdam campaign with a straight-sets win over Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, 6-4, 6-4, on centre court. This victory marks a strong start for Griekspoor, who's looking to bounce back from a disappointing quarter-final exit in Montpellier against Titouan Droguet.


Griekspoor's next opponent will be Quentin Halys, who eliminated Dutch wild card Mees Rottgering in three sets. The Dutchman's form has been inconsistent, but he's determined to turn things around, saying “the best is yet to come” after a tough win earlier in the tournament.
