Chelsea vs Leeds: Rosenior's Blues Face Tough Test
Chelsea face Leeds United in tough Premier League clash. Leeds seek league double over Chelsea for first time since 1991/92.
“Reece is fit. He is feeling unwell today...”
Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior is confident his team will be ready for the “very difficult” clash against Leeds United this week. Since Rosenior took over, Chelsea have won all four of their top-flight matches, a stark contrast to their previous five games under Enzo Maresca where they failed to secure a win. Currently, Chelsea are just one point away from the top four and four points ahead of sixth-placed Liverpool, making this win crucial to jump ahead of Manchester United.
Rosenior has praised his players' mental toughness, citing their ability to come back from two goals down against West Ham and Napoli. Key players like Cole Palmer and Reece James are fit to play, although James is currently battling illness. Leeds United, managed by Daniel Farke, will be looking to complete a league double over Chelsea for the first time since 1991/92.

On James: “Reece is fit. He is feeling unwell today. It's no conspiracy, it's the truth. Hopefully he'll be well enough for tomorrow.”
On Palmer: “He is available for tomorrow. Any world-class player is important in what we want to achieve. It wa wes great to see him bang in the goals on Saturday and hopefully that form continues.”

Tough Test Ahead: Leeds Seek League Double Over Chelsea
Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior knows Leeds United will be a tough opponent, admitting it'll be “another difficult game.” Leeds are looking to complete a league double over Chelsea for the first time since their 1991/92 title-winning season, having beaten them 3-1 at Elland Road in December.
Rosenior praised Leeds' intensity and direct approach, saying they're “direct in a really positive way” and have been impressive recently, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin in good form. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from that defeat and maintain their winning streak under Rosenior.
“You watch every game. It's very difficult for me because when I first watched that game, it was as a neutral, I didn't realise I'd be manager of Chelsea.
“Daniel (Farke) is an outstanding coach. Calvert-Lewin is in really good form. It's going to be a very difficult game again.”
On Leeds’ direct approach: “You saw it against Nottingham Forest, they were magnificent in that game. When I say direct, I mean it in a really positive way. We need to stand up to that and overcome that.”
