Marc Guehi scored a late winner as Crystal Palace beat Fulham 2-1, moving into the Premier League's top four. This win marked Crystal Palace's third consecutive league victory on the road.
Despite missing key players, Crystal Palace started strongly, showing they wouldn't be intimidated at Craven Cottage. They proved to be a force to be reckoned with, taking the game to Fulham and securing a crucial win.
Jean-Philippe Mateta stealing a march in the inside left channel before stinging the palms of Bernd Leno was an early warning sign that Palace were still going to be dangerous.
It was one Fulham failed to heed, though, and it was Eddie Nketiah, standing in for the injured Ismaïla Sarr, who punished the hosts when he hammered home from the edge of the area after Adam Wharton picked him out.
Fulham’s response was fairly muted aside from an Emile Smith-Rowe strike, which needed tipping over by Dean Henderson.
Dean Henderson, the Palace goalkeeper, couldn't stop Harry Wilson's clever shot just before halftime, as Fulham leveled the game. Wilson's effort, assisted by Raul Jimenez, was a great finish.

The second half started with a bang, with both teams showing great intensity. Fulham's Kenny Tete had an early chance, firing over the bar, while Mateta's effort went wide for Palace.
Fulham attempted a comeback, but it was short-lived. They thought they'd equalized when Alex Iwobi's header from Samuel Chukwueze's cross hit the post, and Smith-Rowe scored the rebound, but Chukwueze was offside, ruling the goal out.

The drama prompted both managers to make changes, with Fulham adding more attackers and Palace opting for defensive substitutions. Fulham's tactic backfired, disrupting their momentum, and it seemed to do more harm than good.
The changes didn't quite work out as Fulham's manager Marco Silva had hoped, and Palace continued to push for the win.
Crystal Palace had two big chances in the final five minutes, but they were unable to capitalize. Just when it seemed they might concede, Marc Guehi stepped up, heading home Yeremy Pino's corner to seal the win.
