Nottingham Forest are on fire, and they made it a perfect night for Sean Dyche's side with a 3-0 thrashing of Malmo. The Reds are looking good, and this win takes their unbeaten home run to four games. They'll be confident of getting a result in Sweden now.

Malmo were giving Forest a tough test in the early stages, but the English side were up for it. The Swedish team were happy to match Forest's intensity, and it was a cracking start to the game. But Forest's quality eventually told, and they ran out comfortable winners.

The game was off to a thrilling start, with Nottingham Forest's Arnaud Kalimuendo having the first real chance, his effort flashing just wide of the post. Malmo responded quickly, with Sead Haksabanovic's strike from the edge of the area forcing a smart stop from John Victor.

In a repeat of the 1979 European Cup final, Forest were looking solid, and they opened the scoring midway through the first half. Nikola Milenkovic's cut-back fell kindly for Ryan Yates, who hammered home from 12 yards, giving the Reds the lead.

Forest kept pushing, and they had a great chance to go two up when Kalimuendo was denied by a stunning save from Melker Ellborg. The home side kept probing, and they had a couple of headers cleared off the line, but it was only a matter of time before they scored.

The breakthrough finally came when Kalimuendo slammed home a rebound, ending a goal drought since joining Forest. It was a deserved goal, and it gave the Reds the momentum they needed. Malmo's keeper Ellborg had made some great saves, but Forest's pressure eventually paid off.

The game was effectively over when Forest scored the second, and they sealed the win with a third, courtesy of Milenkovic's clever finish. The hosts kept pushing, and they had a great chance to go 4-0 up, but Callum Hudson-Odoi's effort hit the crossbar.

The win was a great result for Forest, and they were unlucky not to score more. But the night was marred by an injury to Murillo, who looked to have hurt his hamstring. He's a key player for Forest, so it's a big blow to have him out.

Forest kept pushing for more goals, but they seemed to ease off a bit in the closing stages, allowing Malmo to stay in the game. In the end, the result wasn't in doubt, and Forest secured a comfortable 3-0 win.

The win takes Forest up to 16th in the table, and they're looking good for the knockout stages. As for Malmo, they're struggling, and their elimination is looking likely after just one point from their league phase games.
