Luciano Spalletti marked his Juventus debut with a winning start, guiding the team to a 2-1 victory over Cremonese. This win not only brought joy to the Juventus fans but also put an end to a six-week drought without consecutive wins.

The match got off to a dream start for Juventus, with Filip Kostić scoring just 85 seconds into the game. A clever pass from Lois Openda was deflected into Kostić's path, allowing him to slot home with ease. This early goal set the tone for the rest of the match, with Juventus dominating possession and creating scoring opportunities.

Andrea Cambiaso doubled Juventus' lead midway through the second half, slotting home from close range after a deflection from Francisco Conceicao's cross. Despite Jamie Vardy's late goal for Cremonese, Juventus held on for the win, with Kostic's early strike proving decisive in the end.

Dusan Vlahovic's clever turn led to a shot on goal around the 20-minute mark, but Emil Audero made a great save. Five minutes later, Audero was again tested by Manuel Locatelli's shot, which rattled the post.

Luciano Spalletti made just two changes to the team that beat Udinese midweek, and the decision seemed justified as Juventus continued to create scoring opportunities. However, they couldn't double their lead before halftime despite Dušan Vlahović and Manuel Locatelli trying with shots from distance. Lois Openda also had a couple of chances, firing narrowly wide, while Cremonese struggled to threaten Michele Di Gregorio in the Juventus goal.

The home team came out aggressively in the second half, putting together a sustained spell of pressure and creating some promising chances. One notable opportunity fell to Tommaso Barbieri, whose powerful drive was deflected over the crossbar, denying Cremonese a potential goal.

Juventus maintained their dominance, with Dusan Vlahović having a chance to double the lead but failing to convert Weston McKennie's square pass. However, the visitors weren't denied for long, and Andrea Cambiaso scored the second goal with a well-placed finish. Francisco Conceição's pace on the right flank led to a low-driven ball into the area, which Cremonese failed to clear, and Cambiaso capitalized on the opportunity.

The home side's hopes were briefly revived when Jamie Vardy scored his second goal of the season, shrugging off the Juventus defense to steer the ball past the goalkeeper with seven minutes remaining. Despite the late goal, Juventus managed to hold on for the win, with Vardy's effort coming too little, too late.

Cremonese suffered their first home league defeat since February, while Juventus extended their unbeaten record against them, remaining undefeated in their head-to-head matches since 1923.
