Argentina will miss three Atletico Madrid players, Julian Alvarez, Nahuel Molina, and Giuliano Simeone, for their friendly match against Angola due to yellow fever vaccine issues. The Argentine Football Association announced that the players didn't complete the required health procedures on time.

The trio won't be part of Argentina's squad for Friday's match in Luanda, Angola, as yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers to certain African and South American regions. Argentina has already secured their spot in the 2026 World Cup.

Argentina's football association (AFA) released a statement saying, “The players did not complete in time the health procedures related to the yellow fever vaccine, which is required to enter Angola.” The affected players are Atletico Madrid trio Julian Alvarez, Nahuel Molina, and Giuliano Simeone, who will miss Friday's friendly against Angola in Luanda.

The world champions have already secured their spot at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, and will face Angola without the three Atletico stars.
