Atalanta has appointed Raffaele Palladino as their new manager, following the sacking of Ivan Juric on Monday. Palladino, 41, has signed a contract until June 2027 and will look to turn the club's fortunes around after a disappointing seven-match winless streak in Serie A.
Palladino, who previously managed Fiorentina, takes over a team that's currently 13th in the Serie A table, with just two league wins this season. His first match in charge will be against Napoli on November 22, after the international break.

Atalanta are struggling in the league, with only two wins this campaign, and trail leaders Inter Milan by 11 points. Atalanta announced that “Raffaele Palladino has signed with the Nerazzurri club on a contract until 30 June 2027,” indicating a significant change in their team management.
Raffaele Palladino started his managerial journey at Monza, initially leading the youth team before taking the helm of the first team in 2022. During his two-year tenure, he guided Monza to respectable 11th and 12th-place finishes in Serie A.

Palladino's success at Monza earned him a move to Fiorentina in June 2024, where he achieved a notable sixth-place finish, securing a spot in the Conference League. This impressive debut season showcased his tactical prowess and ability to develop young talent.
Raffaele Palladino's tenure at Fiorentina ended despite guiding the team to their best league position since 2016, as his style didn't quite resonate with the fans. He parted ways with the club by mutual consent, just three weeks after signing a contract extension in May 2025.
Palladino's Atalanta adventure begins on November 22nd, when they'll face fourth-placed Napoli after the international break, marking his first game in charge.
