Osimhen continued to cause problems for the visitors, getting his head on two Leroy Sane crosses but being denied by Bodo/Glimt's goalkeeper Haikin. The intensity of the game was evident, and the striker's efforts were a testament to his determination.

Despite being under pressure, Bodo/Glimt started to make some forward runs and had periods of possession. However, the home crowd was impatient, greeting their spells of possession with whistles. Ultimately, they still couldn't create any clear chances for their goalkeeper, Uğurcan Cakır, to be tested.

Osimhen showcased his threat, pouncing on a loose ball after Odin Bjortuft failed to deal with Ismail Jakobs' cross. Although goalkeeper Haikin was alert enough to block Osimhen's initial attempt, he couldn't do much about the next chance.

The goalkeeper was left helpless in the 33rd minute when Osimhen capitalized on a lax backpass from Fredrik André Bjørkan, rounding Haikin and slotting the ball into the empty net.

Victor Osimhen's brace propelled Galatasaray to a 3-1 victory over Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League, marking the Turkish side's second consecutive European win. This win was significant, given Galatasaray had only managed one win in their previous 18 main-draw matches.

The match got off to a flying start, with Galatasaray taking the lead just three minutes in. Mario Lemina's clever pass set up Osimhen, who calmly beat Nikita Haikin with a clinical finish, sending the home crowd into raptures. Osimhen doubled his tally in the 33rd minute after Bodo/Glimt's Fredrik Bjorkan made an error, passing the ball straight to Osimhen, who scored with ease. Yunus Akgün sealed the win with a third goal in the 60th minute, scoring on the rebound after his initial shot was blocked by Haikin. Bodo/Glimt's Andreas Helmersen scored a consolation goal in the 75th minute.

Bodo/Glimt had chances to get back in the game before halftime. Jens Petter Hauge wasted an opportunity, firing wide after Roland Sallai was dispossessed by Sondre Brunstad Fet. Fet then hit the post with a long-range shot, showing some promise from the visitors.

Bodo/Glimt continued to show intent after the restart, with Bjorkan making a strong run before finding Sondre Auklend, whose shot was blocked. Despite being behind, they looked determined to get back into the match.

Bodo/Glimt received a huge warning moments later when Osimhen and Yunus Akgun both had opportunities to shoot, only to pass it up. Soon after, Leroy Sané had a chance that was denied, but the visitors failed to take heed.

The warning was swiftly followed by a decisive moment when Haitam Aleesami was dispossessed by Osimhen on the edge of the box. This set up Akgun to score, as he beat Haikin at the second attempt.

Bodo/Glimt's struggles persisted as Fredrik Sjovold gifted Osimhen the ball, but managed to retreat and block the striker's second shot after the first had been saved. This moment encapsulated the visitors' defensive frailties.

The visitors finally found some solace in the 76th minute when Andreas Helmersen headed in Bjorkan's cross, providing a consolation goal in an otherwise dominant performance by Galatasaray.

Despite the consolation goal, there was never any real doubt that Galatasaray would emerge victorious, given their impressive form. The win marked their 21st victory in their last 23 matches across all competitions, showcasing their dominance.

The victory was a strong response to their heavy defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on the opening day of the UCL league phase. Galatasaray also ended Bodo/Glimt's five-game unbeaten run in European league phase matches, leaving the Norwegian side with two points
