Bayern Munich extended their winning run to a German record 12 matches, defeating Club Brugge 4-0 at the Allianz Arena. This remarkable victory marked their 34th win in 36 home games in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

With a flawless start to the season, Bayern Munich were expected to dominate Club Brugge. Despite this, the Blauw-Zwart were caught off guard by the opener, courtesy of youngster Lennart Karl's stunning goal in the 5th minute, which set the tone for Bayern's dominant performance. Harry Kane and Luis Díaz further solidified Bayern's lead with goals in the 14th and 34th minutes, respectively.

17-year-old debutant Lennart Karl made an instant impact in Europe, tricking his way through midfield before unleashing a beautifully curled shot from the edge of the area that flew over Nordin Jackers. Aleksandar Pavlovic followed up with a thunderous strike that hit the post from a similar position, hinting at a promising night for Bayern.

The visitors made their breakthrough with ruthless efficiency. Konrad Laimer carried the ball to the byline, pulled it across the box, and Harry Kane was left unchecked to tap home at the far post, capitalizing on a well-worked opportunity.

After a brief lull, Bayern regained their momentum thanks to another impressive run from 17-year-old Lennart Karl. His effort, which bounced just wide of the near post, showcased his talent and kept Club Brugge's defense under pressure.

Just after the half-hour mark, Bayern doubled their lead. Konrad Laimer combined with Luis Díaz on the left flank, and Díaz unleashed a powerful shot that flew over the goalkeeper's head and into the net, off the underside of the bar.

Nicky Hayen attempted to spark a comeback with substitutions at halftime, but Bayern's dominance persisted. Despite their control, Harry Kane had an off-night with his shooting, missing three promising chances, including a crucial opportunity that was thwarted by Jorne Spileers.

Spileers' defensive heroics continued when he blocked Luis Díaz's shot on the line. However, he couldn't prevent Nicolas Jackson from capitalizing on the rebound, scoring his second UCL goal in as many appearances for Bayern.

Bayern maintained their dominance until the final whistle, securing a comprehensive 4-0 victory. Vincent Kompany will be pleased with his team's performance, which earned him a fifth clean sheet in 17 UCL matches as Bayern's manager.

Club Brugge suffered their second consecutive UCL defeat, further exacerbating their poor record against German teams, with only one win in 13 matches. Meanwhile, Bayern rejoined the top of the league standings with a perfect UCL record, setting their sights on building on their Der Klassiker win and extending their winning streak.
