Slavia Prague secured a hard-earned goalless draw against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League, marking just the second time they've avoided defeat in 11 matches on Italian soil. The teams were met with a fiery atmosphere, with a tifo reading “light my fire” setting the tone for an intense encounter.

Both teams created early opportunities, with Tomas Chory flashing a shot across goal and Davide Zappacosta's effort being blocked. Despite the clear chances, neither side could find the breakthrough, highlighting the defensive solidity on display.

Atalanta piled on the pressure with a flurry of attempts, but Slavia's defense held firm. Nikola Krstovic's shot was blocked, and goalkeeper Jakub Markovic made crucial saves to deny Odilon Kossounou and tip Charles De Ketelaere's strike wide. Tomáš Vlček also made a brave block to keep the scores level.

Despite Atalanta's dominance, Slavia created problems on the counter. However, Krstović was left frustrated after squandering two golden opportunities, with Markovic making a crucial save on the first attempt and Krstović blazing the second effort over. Ademola Lookman also had two strikes deflected behind by Vlček, while De Ketelaere and Ederson curled shots wide, keeping the scoreline goalless.

David Moses's late first-half shot, tipped behind by Marco Carnesecchi, gave Slavia a boost heading into the break. The momentum continued into the second half, with Lukáš Provod's free-kick forcing Carnesecchi into a crucial save.

Slavia looked increasingly confident, with Vasil Kušej showcasing his ambition with a volley that narrowly sailed wide. However, their progress was disrupted by an injury blow, as Youssoupha Mbodji was forced off the pitch just after the hour mark.

Atalanta's manager Ivan Juric made a tactical substitution, but it was Kamaldeen Sulemana who had the chance to spark La Dea's fans. However, the youngster overran the ball, allowing Markovic to smother him, and a subsequent shot was blocked by Vlcek.

At the other end, Lukas Provod's deflected strike was held by the goalkeeper, and Michal Sadilek flashed a shot agonizingly over the crossbar. Meanwhile, Charles De Ketelaere grew increasingly frustrated, unable to find the breakthrough goal despite his best efforts.

Atalanta (La Dea) intensified the pressure in the final stages, but Gianluca Scamacca couldn't capitalize on a golden opportunity, heading over from close range. Scamacca also had a powerful shot palmed away by Jakub Markovic, denying Atalanta a late winner.

The draw extended both teams' streak to three consecutive matches without a win. For Slavia Prague, it was their second draw in three UCL matches, while Atalanta's slightly better European form earned them four points, keeping them in contention.
