Spanish Football Federation president Rafael Louzan believes LaLiga's decision to stage a match in Miami is a great idea. The match, featuring Barcelona and Villarreal, will be a reward for international fans who pay to watch LaLiga from abroad. This event marks a significant milestone, as it will be the first time a European league match is played abroad.

The match, scheduled for December 20 at Hard Rock Stadium, will not only be an exciting event for fans but also promote Spanish football globally. Louzan emphasized that this move is good for football and will benefit fans worldwide. Italy's Serie A will also host a match in Australia, featuring AC Milan and Como, further expanding European football's global reach.

The LaLiga match, set for December 20 at Hard Rock Stadium, will make history as the first official European league match to be played abroad.

“It is a reward for those fans who are behind the screen, in Asia or America, who are paying a fee to watch all the LaLiga matches,” Louzan said at the World Football Summit in Madrid on Wednesday.

“It is a gesture for them. It is good for football and promotes the Spanish league around the world. Italy is also going to do it with Serie A in Australia.” Rafael Louzan.
