Juventus Defender Gleison Bremer to Undergo Surgery
Injury update: Juventus defender Gleison Bremer to undergo surgery for a torn meniscus ligament in his left knee. Bremer set to be sidelined for weeks.

Gleison Bremer, the Juventus defender, is set to undergo surgery for a torn meniscus ligament in his left knee after being diagnosed in Lyon on Monday morning. Bremer has struggled with injuries, missing most of last season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The 28-year-old will undergo selective arthroscopic meniscectomy in the next few hours. Italian media reports suggest Bremer could be out for about a month, which would see him miss Juventus' upcoming match against high-flying Como in Italy's top flight. This injury adds to coach Igor Tudor's woes, as Juventus is already without defender Juan Cabal due to a thigh injury sustained during their Champions League match against Villarreal.

Italian media reports suggest that the 28-year-old defender could be sidelined for a month, which would rule him out of Sunday's Serie A match against high-flying Como. This would be a significant blow to coach Igor Tudor, whose team is already without fellow defender Juan Cabal due to a thigh injury sustained in the Champions League draw against Villarreal earlier this month.
Juventus currently sits fifth in the Serie A standings with 12 points, having drawn their last five matches across all competitions. With key players sidelined due to injuries, Tudor will be looking for his team to regroup and secure a positive result against Como.
