“He gives me confidence every day. I know that if I work hard, he'll give me a chance...”
Inter Milan's Ange-Yoan Bonny was on fire as he contributed to every goal in their 4-1 demolition of Cremonese, extending their winning streak to five matches across all competitions. Bonny's impressive performance included one goal and three assists, earning him the Man of the Match title in Serie A.

The 21-year-old French forward's involvement in every goal was evident from the start. He set up Lautaro Martinez for the opening goal in the 6th minute, scored the second goal in the 38th minute with a header from Federico Dimarco's cross, and then assisted Dimarco and Nicolò Barella for the third and fourth goals, respectively. Bonny's performance showcased his skill and chemistry with his teammates.
Inter Milan dominated the match from start to finish, with Cremonese struggling to contain their attacks. Despite Cremonese's initial five-game unbeaten start to the season, which included a memorable 2-1 win over AC Milan, they were unable to replicate that form against Inter. Federico Bonazzoli scored a consolation goal for Cremonese in the 87th minute, but it was too little, too late.
The match got off to a flying start, with Inter taking the lead just six minutes in. Lautaro Martinez scored his fourth goal in three games, expertly sweeping home a pass from Bonny. This early goal set the tone for the rest of the match, leaving the opposing team reeling.
Inter's confident charges thought they had doubled their lead when Federico Dimarco's shot deflected off Manuel Akanji, but VAR intervened, ruling Dimarco offside. Undeterred, Inter continued to pressure the Cremonese goal, with Davide Frattesi forcing a diving save from Marco Silvestri and Henrikh Mkhitaryan having two attempts thwarted in quick succession.
Inter's pursuit of a second goal required patience, but their dominance eventually paid off. In the final 10 minutes of the first half, Bonny headed in Dimarco's near-post cross, securing a 2-0 lead and reflecting Inter's control over the game. The first half showcased Inter's attacking prowess, with their frontline creating multiple scoring opportunities.

The break didn't bring the visitors the momentum shift they might have hoped for. Instead, the hosts continued their dominant display, scoring two goals in quick succession before the hour mark. The first came when Bonny's corner kick was kept alive, allowing Federico Dimarco to drive the ball into the bottom corner. Barely had the visitors adjusted, Barella sealed the win with a composed finish, netting his first goal since December, courtesy of Bonny's pinpoint assist.
While Inter sealed the spoils with minimum fuss, Chivu would have been frustrated to see his side miss out on a clean sheet following Federico Bonazzoli’s 87th-minute consolation from close range.
However, the hosts will still be pleased with a formidable display that moves them into fourth, while Cremonese slip to eighth after their first defeat of the campaign.
