Manchester United's winning streak continued as they defeated Brighton 4-2, marking their third consecutive Premier League victory. This win also extended their unbeaten run at home in the league to four matches.

The Red Devils had a promising start, but Danny Welbeck's early shot was saved by Senne Lammens. However, United soon took control, with Matheus Cunha scoring his first goal for the club, followed by Casemiro's deflected effort. Bryan Mbeumo sealed the win with a brace, despite late pressure from Brighton, including goals from Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas.

United's first goal was a thing of beauty, but their second, although a bit scrappy, helped calm nerves at Old Trafford. The goal came after Jan Paul van Hecke's loose pass was pounced on by Luke Shaw, and Casemiro's 25-yard strike deflected off Yasin Ayari past the goalkeeper.

Brighton's goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen made a crucial save to deny Bruno Fernandes from point-blank range just after the restart, keeping his team in the game.

Brighton's relief was short-lived, as Manchester United soon dominated the game and made it 3-0. Although controversy surrounded the third goal, with Brighton claiming a foul in the buildup, Bryan Mbeumo didn't mind, slotting home from close range after being on the end of a United attack, before finishing it off with a stunning strike from the edge of the area for his brace.

Fabian Hurzeler was furious when Patrick Dorgu's last-man tackle on Yankuba Minteh only earned a yellow card. However, his side got the perfect response from the resulting free-kick, as Danny Welbeck scored with a beautifully curled effort into the top corner.

Brighton pushed hard for a comeback in the final stages, but they had left themselves too much to do. Despite a late surge, they couldn't find the equalizer. In stoppage time, Charalampos Kostoulas headed home a James Milner corner, setting up a thrilling finish, but it was too little, too late for Brighton to salvage a point.

Bryan Mbeumo sealed the win with a fourth goal in the dying moments, wrapping up a stylish victory for Manchester United. This result marked their third consecutive league win under Erik ten Hag's successor, Ruben Amorim, and temporarily lifted them into the top four.
