The victory marked a significant result for Mikel Arteta's side, who had been knocked off the top by Manchester City earlier in the day. Arsenal's win puts pressure back on their title rivals.


Trossard's goal came in the 58th minute when he bundled home from close range after Gabriel had flicked on Bukayo Saka's corner. The win extends Arsenal's unbeaten run to eight games and keeps them three points clear at the top of the table

Marco Silva might have been pleased with his team's first-half performance, but a setback arrived just before halftime when Joachim Andersen went off injured. Despite dominating possession, Fulham struggled to create clear chances, with Harry Wilson spurning a promising opportunity after the break.




The deadlock was finally broken when Arsenal capitalized on their set-piece expertise. Bukayo Saka delivered a corner kick that Gabriel headed on, and Leandro Trossard finished the rebound at the far post, securing a crucial 1-0 lead for the visitors.


The Gunners' attacking prowess was evident as Arsenal became the first team in the Premier League this season to have 10 different goalscorers, excluding own goals. The victory sends a strong message to reigning champions Liverpool, who can close the gap to within a point with a win over Manchester United. Meanwhile, Fulham's struggles continued, as they suffered their third consecutive league defeat for the first time since December 2023, leaving them 14th in the table.
