FC Nordsjaelland pulled off a stunning upset, defeating Brondby in a thrilling match that went into extra time. Meanwhile, high-flying FC Midtjylland cruised past Silkeborg with a 4-0 win.

FC Midtjylland's victory confirmed their spot in the quarter-finals, which are set to take place in December. The team's goalscoring form has been impressive, and they'll be looking to continue their strong run in the cup competition.

Mikel Gogorza, Franculino Dju, and Victor Bak's introduction in the 63rd minute allowed the home side to settle into their stride, showcasing the stylish football that's yielded at least 15 goals in their last 15 fixtures.

FC Midtjylland seized the opportunity, scoring three times in seven minutes to effectively end Silkeborg's Danish Cup ambitions. Personal mistakes proved costly for Silkeborg as they struggled to recover.

Goals from Denil Castillo, Victor Bak, Franculino, and Mads Freundlich gave the home side a morale boost ahead of their crucial Danish Superliga clash against league leaders AGF on Monday night.

FC Nordsjaelland secured a thrilling 4-2 win over Brondby, thanks to two extra-time goals from Levy Nene and Justin Janssen. The victory earned them a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The match was an entertaining affair from the start, with both teams creating chances in the first half. Brondby took the lead just before halftime when Nicolai Vallys scored with a well-timed run, finishing a delivery from Oliver Villadsen.

Nicklas Rojkjaer restored parity ten minutes into the second half with a beautifully curled direct free kick that sailed past Patrick Pentz.

The home side continued to press for the winner, but Brondby caught them on the counter-attack, with Noah Nartey striking a well-placed long-range drive to restore the lead for Steve Cooper's side seven minutes from the end.

However, Brondby's lead was short-lived, as Prince Amoako Junior's pass set up Villum Berthelsen's decisive run, leaving him clean through on goal. The youngster calmly slotted the ball home, forcing the match into extra time.
