FC Midtjylland continued their goalscoring spree with a resounding 4-0 victory over FC Fredericia at Monjasa Park, solidifying their second-place position in the Danish Superliga. The home side started brightly, creating several half-chances before Midtjylland settled into their usual rhythm. Despite early promise, Fredericia's efforts were thwarted, and Midtjylland's superiority eventually told.

The match's turning point came when a corner kick was flicked on for Emilio Simonsen, but his shot was blocked by Midtjylland's keeper, Elias Olafsson. This moment allowed Midtjylland to gain momentum, and they soon took control of the game, showcasing their attacking prowess and ultimately securing a convincing win. With this victory, Midtjylland further cemented their position in the top two, trailing leaders AGF by just two points.

The visitors found their footing at the windy Monjasa Park and gained momentum, capitalizing on it after 29 minutes. Denil Castillo's clever run down the right flank created an opportunity, and his cross was emphatically finished by the on-rushing Franculino. Just six minutes later, FC Midtjylland doubled their lead when Castillo played in Cho Gue-sung, who volleyed the ball superbly into the net.

Any hopes of a Fredericia comeback were dashed just five minutes into the second half when Mikel Gogarza, who replaced Aral Simsir at halftime, capitalized on a mistake by Andreas Pyndt to score the third goal. The rout was completed three minutes later when Junior Brumado, who had replaced Franculino, delivered a powerful header to seal a 4-0 victory for FC Midtjylland.

In the other early match of the day, Silkeborg deepened Vejle's crisis, as the relegation-struggling side remains stuck at the bottom of the league. Christian Gammelgaard gave Silkeborg hope of their first win since August 1, but Tonni Adamsen's 19th-minute goal and Pedro Ganchas' 31st-minute strike turned the tide in the visitors' favor. The win lifted Silkeborg up to 7th place in the league.
