Mikel Arteta praised his team's resilience in securing a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, calling it their most valuable victory of the season. “Fully agree, I value more this victory than any other this season,” Arteta said, highlighting the difficulty of the match against a well-organized opponent.
The win, fueled by Eberechi Eze's stunning set-piece goal, widened Arsenal's lead at the top of the league table to four points. Arteta commended Eze's “unbelievable technique” and noted that the goal showcased the team's ability to find ways to score against well-drilled teams.

Mikel Arteta emphasized the importance of maintaining focus amidst a demanding schedule, mentioning the team's upcoming match against Brighton in the League Cup. “Coming from playing every three days... you play against one of the teams I think is one of the best, when lose that concentration they can punish you,” he added.
Despite the win, Arteta remained cautious about Arsenal's title prospects, stating, “It's very early, we're still in October... Let's try and recover for Wednesday.”

“We have noticed a shift, methods that are implemented that are more efficient,” Arteta said. “You can contain the spaces, because you are better and we have to find a way to score in different ways.”
Arteta praised Eze's “brilliant finish,” noting the special significance of the goal given it came against his former club, where he spent five seasons.
“He was super relaxed before the game,” Arteta said. “Such a strong feeling and gratitude. The technique (on the goal) is unbelievable. We needed something (special) against a team so well organised.”
