Bayern Munich has signed Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson on a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy, after a brief transfer saga. The deal, worth £70.5 million (€81.5 million), includes an increased loan fee of £14.25 million (€16.4 million) and a purchase price of £56.25 million (€65 million), depending on appearances made. Jackson has agreed to a five-year contract with Bayern, committing him to the club until 2031.


The transfer was nearly derailed when Chelsea pulled out of the deal following an injury to Liam Delap, leaving Enzo Maresca with limited striker options. However, Jackson's determination to join Bayern and the club's persistence ultimately secured the transfer. Jackson's agent, Ali Barat, confirmed that they did “everything” to secure the move, and the player remained in Germany to finalize the deal.
