NFL Sunday Roundup: Chiefs, Eagles Win Big
The Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated with a 4-0 record

NFL Week 4 recap: NFL Sunday roundup, including highlights from the Kansas City Chiefs' win over the Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles' victory over the Buccaneers.

“He makes those big plays happen. It opens up everybody else so super-excited about how we look...”

Kansas City Chiefs' Resurgence

The Kansas City Chiefs bounced back impressively at home, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing four touchdowns in a dominant 37-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens. This high-profile matchup between Mahomes and Ravens' Lamar Jackson ended in disappointment for Baltimore, who fell to 1-3 for the season. Mahomes' stellar performance marked the best game of the Chiefs' campaign so far, showcasing his skills as a three-time Super Bowl champion.

Philadelphia Eagles Remain Unbeaten

The Philadelphia Eagles extended their perfect start to the season with a hard-fought 31-25 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Quarterback Jalen Hurts praised the team's grit, saying, “There's a certain level of grit that you have to have to play in this league, and the more grit you have, usually the better you are.” This win marked Philadelphia's 20th victory in their last 21 starts, including the previous season.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 270 yards, tossing four touchdowns with no interceptions, and praised the impact of wide receiver Xavier Worthy's return from injury. Worthy finished with 83 receiving yards, and Mahomes noted his significant contribution, saying, “He makes those big plays happen. It opens up everybody else so super-excited about how we look. We've got some stuff to clean up -- getting touchdowns instead of field goals, but it's something to build on.” This impressive performance marked a crucial boost for the Kansas City Chiefs, who improved to 2-2 after their 37-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens.

The Philadelphia Eagles edged out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-25 in a thrilling matchup of previously unbeaten teams. The win marked Philadelphia's 20th victory in their last 21 starts, including the previous season. The reigning Super Bowl champions battled through sultry conditions at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium to extend their perfect start to the season.

Bills Stay Unbeaten

The Buffalo Bills defeated the New Orleans Saints 31-19, moving to 4-0 for the season. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns and ran for another, helping secure victory for the Bills. Despite a strong effort from the Saints, who remained winless at 0-4, Buffalo's lead proved insurmountable. A late Blake Grupe field goal briefly narrowed the gap to two points, but the Bills maintained control to seal the win.

Josh Allen sealed the win for the Buffalo Bills with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Dalton Kincaid, and Matt Prater added a late field goal to make the final score 31-19. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers' unbeaten start came to an end with a 21-18 loss to the 0-3 New York Giants, who earned their first win of the season.

The Indianapolis Colts' unbeaten record ended with a 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in California. Matthew Stafford's 88-yard touchdown pass to Tutu Atwell gave the Rams the winning lead, improving their record to 3-1.

In other games, the San Francisco 49ers fell 26-21 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, while the Chicago Bears edged out the Las Vegas Raiders 25-24. The Bears' win came after blocking a last-minute 54-yard field goal attempt by the Raiders.

The Pittsburgh Steelers also held off the Minnesota Vikings 24-21 in the first-ever NFL game played in Ireland, with running back Kenneth Gainwell rushing for two touchdowns at Dublin's Croke Park in front of 74,512 fans.

The in-form Detroit Lions improved to 3-1 with a 34-10 thrashing of the Cleveland Browns, while the Atlanta Falcons were 34-27 winners over the Washington Commanders.
