PSG gets a boost as Joao Neves returns to the squad for the Champions League match against Barcelona, but without Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and other injured players.

Joao Neves is set to rejoin Paris Saint-Germain's squad for their Champions League match against Barcelona after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in PSG's 4-0 win over Atalanta two weeks ago. Neves' return is a boost for PSG, who will also welcome back fellow midfielder Vitinha, who was substituted in the first half of their match against AJ Auxerre last Saturday due to a minor issue.


 

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian forward, won't be part of the squad for Wednesday's game due to a thigh injury. Additionally, centre-back Marquinhos and forwards Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué will also miss the match against FC Barcelona at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Barcelona, scheduled for October 1, 2025, at 20:00 WAT, due to their respective injuries.
