Feyenoord is on the verge of signing Canadian striker Cyle Larin from Real Mallorca, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano. A total agreement has been reached among all parties, paving the way for Larin to join the Eredivisie giants before the transfer window closes in the Netherlands on September 2nd.

The 30-year-old striker has had an impressive career, previously playing for clubs like Orlando City and Beşiktaş. Larin's addition would significantly boost Feyenoord's attacking lineup, bringing much-needed experience and goal-scoring prowess to the team. With the deal all but finalized, Larin is expected to strengthen Feyenoord's squad ahead of the crucial stages of the season.

Feyenoord, the 17-time Eredivisie champions, are looking to strengthen their squad by adding a striker. With Julian Carranza potentially joining Leicester City on loan, Manager Robin van Persie wants to bolster the front line. Larin, an 86-time Canada international, joined Real Mallorca in 2023 and has scored 14 goals in 76 games across all competitions for the island club. Before his time in Spain, Larin spent time at Club Brugge and Zulte Waregem on loan from Besiktas, for whom he spent the majority of his career so far. In 108 games for the Eagles, the Canadian scored 39 goals.

Since leaving MLS side Orlando City, Larin has notched just one season with at least 10 league goals (2019/20 season with Besiktas, 19 goals).
