Swiatek dominated the match, unleashing her precise play from the baseline to break Arango in the fourth game of the first set. From there, she sprinted through the rest of the set, dropping only one of her first-serve points. In the second set, Swiatek broke Arango in the opening game, producing just five unforced errors. Arango's frustration grew, and she inadvertently helped Swiatek secure another break in the seventh game with a clumsy shot into the net.
Iga Swiatek sealed her win with a forehand winner, prompting a subdued celebration as her devoted Polish fans cheered her on. She expressed her gratitude for the support, saying, “Polish fans are kind of everywhere, it's super nice to feel the support always.”

Swiatek has arrived in New York in top form, fresh from her victory at the Cincinnati Open, where she lifted the trophy just a day before partnering with Casper Ruud for the US Open mixed doubles event. Although they didn't quite clinch the title, having lost in the final to Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, her performance showcases her impressive skills. Swiatek and Ruud had a strong run, defeating Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe, as well as Catherine McNally and Lorenzo Musetti, before reaching the final.
Swiatek will next face Suzan Lamens of the Netherlands, looking to continue her winning streak in New York.
