Tel, who is Black, was subjected to the vile abuse after missing a penalty in the shootout that saw PSG win 4-3, following a 2-2 draw in regular time. Tottenham's statement highlighted their commitment to working with authorities and social media platforms to identify and take strong action against those responsible for the abuse.
