Feyenoord and Sweden legend Ove Kindvall has passed away at 82, leaving behind a legacy as a prolific goal-scorer.



Ove Kindvall, the legendary Sweden striker and Feyenoord icon, has passed away at 82. Kindvall, who scored the winning goal in the 1970 European Cup final, left a lasting legacy at the Dutch club after joining in 1966. 


During his five-year tenure, he scored 129 goals in 114 league matches.


Kindvall played a pivotal role in Sweden's qualification for the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, earning national hero status. He later represented Sweden in the 1974 World Cup finals held in West Germany.
