Tyler Morton has completed his transfer from Liverpool to Lyon, signing a five-year deal with the French club. The 22-year-old midfielder joins Lyon for a reported €10 million (£8.7 million) fee from the reigning Premier League champions.
Lyon announced the signing of Tyler Morton from Liverpool, stating, “Olympique Lyonnais announce the arrival of midfielder Tyler Morton from Liverpool. The English youth international has signed a five-year contract, which will run until June 30, 2030.” Morton joined Liverpool's academy at 7 and signed his first professional contract at 17 before making the move to Lyon.

Capped 13 times at under-21 level for England, Morton was a central figure as the team were crowned European champions in June.
