According to German media outlet Kicker, Danish international Joakim Mæhle and Mohammed Amoura were involved in a heated scuffle during Tuesday's training session, which required them to be separated from their teammates. This incident was discussed during Wolfsburg's press conference on Thursday.


Wolfsburg head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl addressed the incident, stating, “It happens occasionally, there are emotions in football. One of them crossed the line, and it wasn't very nice.” He added, “Everyone must take the consequences. The players deal with it, apologize, accept the punishment and move on.”


According to Kicker, Mohammed Amoura allegedly started the altercation with Joakim Mæhle during training. However, Wolfsburg's head coach, Ralph Hasenhuttl, chose not to confirm or deny the details, stating that the matter has been closed and will be handled internally.


Wolfsburg currently sit 12th in the Bundesliga and face a tough test against Borussia Dortmund away on Saturday. The team's focus will likely shift towards preparing for the upcoming match.
