Carlo Ancelotti Refuses to Discuss Real Madrid Future

Carlo Ancelotti says he'll only discuss his Real Madrid future on the last day of the LaLiga season, amid reports linking him to Brazil job.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti refused to discuss his future with the club, amid ongoing speculation about a potential move to Brazil. “I can make it clear, the truth is that I am very fond of my club, my players and my fans. I'll talk about my future on the 25th (of May),” Ancelotti said, maintaining his silence on the matter until the end of the season.

With five matches remaining, Real Madrid trails Barcelona by four points in LaLiga, and Ancelotti is focused on securing a third league title for the club. Despite reports linking him to the Brazil job, Ancelotti's priority appears to be guiding Real Madrid to success on the pitch.

“We've come from an almost perfect season and we've had a lot of difficulties. But there are five games left and anything can happen. What can't happen is that we give up,” the 65-year-old said.

“We have to win these five games and give everything. If we win we can change the season and have a very good season.”

Ancelotti was direct with reporters, stating, “I know perfectly well what I have to do, what I am going to do and what I am doing, which is not talking about my future today. I know I'm disappointing you today but I don't care.” He emphasized that his focus remains on the season, rather than speculation about his future.

Regarding his potential departure from Real Madrid, Ancelotti said, “Anything will be a fantastic farewell. I've never had a fight in six years with the club and I'm not going to have one on the last day, which I don't know when it will be. It could be May 25, it could be 2026.” He remains committed to the team and the league title chase.

Ancelotti expressed determination to pursue the LaLiga title, saying Real Madrid won't give up in the race against Barcelona. This comes after Barcelona's recent win in the Copa del Rey final, but Ancelotti's focus remains on securing a third league title for the club.
