Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo believes the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City is “not different from any other one,” despite it being the club's first semi-final since 1991. Forest last won the FA Cup in 1959 and haven't lifted a major trophy since their League Cup success in 1990.

“Inside our preparation, this game is not different from any other one,” Nuno said, emphasizing that his team will approach the match with their usual mindset. With Champions League qualification also on the line, Nuno's focus remains on consistency rather than altering their strategy for the big occasion.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo emphasized that his team will approach the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City with the same preparation and mindset as any other match. “So we have retained our normal cycle of preparation and we approach the same, knowing that it's going to be a tough match but it's a special occasion, we have to enjoy it.”

Nuno added, “The importance of the game is exactly the same as the previous one, and the next one. So the approach is exactly the same.” Forest, currently fourth in the league standings, aims for Champions League qualification and bounced back from consecutive losses with a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo credited his team's 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur for boosting their confidence ahead of the FA Cup semi-final. “It helps a lot. The best way to prepare the match is when you perform well in the previous one,” Nuno said.

The win has given Forest momentum, and Nuno added, “And I think we did, we bounced back from previous performances and the players were good, so we are confident.” Forest will face Manchester City in the semi-final, with the winner meeting either Crystal Palace or Aston Villa.
