Benjamin Morrison Enters NFL Draft, Leaves Lasting Legacy at Notre Dame
Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, projected as a first-round pick despite missing most of the past season due to injury.
Morrison also shared a reflective video on his Instagram, looking back on his football career. During his three years at Notre Dame, Morrison accumulated an impressive array of statistics, including 84 tackles, 18 pass deflections, nine interceptions, and one touchdown. His accomplishments on the field earned him numerous accolades, including being named a Team Captain for the Irish. Morrison was also recognized as a preseason All-American by multiple outlets, including the Associated Press, USA Today, ESPN, and Sporting News.

Morrison's individual honors extended beyond his preseason recognition. In 2023, he was named a Thorpe Award Semifinalist, an award given to the league's top defensive back. Additionally, Morrison received the Notre Dame Knute Rockne Student-Athlete Engagement Award. As a freshman, Morrison was named to the 2022 Freshman All-American team by multiple outlets, including On3, College Football News, The Athletic, 247 Sports, ESPN, and the Football Writers Association of America.
