Dangote Refinery has reduced its petrol price by N20/litre to N970/litre, offering marketers significant savings on every purchase.
Dangote Refinery's Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, announced that the company is reducing the price of petrol to N970 per liter. This move is a gesture of appreciation for the unwavering support of Nigerians, who have helped make the refinery a reality.
The new price represents a cut from the refinery's previous ex-depot price of N990, announced earlier this month.
“In addition, this is to thank the government for their support as this will complement the measures put in place to encourage domestic enterprise for our collective well-being,” the statement partly read.

“We are determined to keep ramping up production to meet and surpass our domestic fuel consumption; thus, dispelling any fear of a shortfall in supply.”
The price reduction of N20 per liter will provide a welcome relief to marketers, who will now enjoy significant savings on every liter of petrol purchased from the Lekki-based refinery.
